About Christopher

Christopher Alexander has more than 15 years of experience as a strategic communication planner and communication research expert working for the federal government and with brands like Coca Cola, Disney and Etihad Airways.

Christopher pioneered the use of data in implementing successful communication campaigns for the U.S. Army and was instrumental in developing programs to measure the effectiveness of communication efforts. He has performed and used research for campaigns in the Middle East, Central Asia, South East Asia and South America. In the United States, Christopher managed a 6 language campaign for a US Presidential Task in 2015 with data reporting so innovative he was invited to brief at the White House.

He has provided instruction on strategic communication planning and communication research at the Long Term Strategy Project at Harvard University, the Africa Bureau at State Department, the Broadcasting Board of Governors, the Naval War College, the National Defense University, the Army Science Board, and U.S. Army Command and General Staff School. He also served as a senior mentor for strategic communication at the U.S. Marine Corps Command and General Staff College. Currently he teaches communication planning and data driven decision making as a guest lecturer at a University of San Francisco program for veterans running for office.

Christopher studied Multi-Disciplinary Social Sciences at Washington State University.
