Vlad Cartwright is the Executive Vice President of 720 Strategies, a Washington, DC-based integrated public affairs and marketing communications firm. With over 15 years experience in public affairs, public relations and grassroots advocacy, Vlad specializes in developing and implementing community-based campaigns in the areas of legislative and regulatory advocacy, public education, coalition development and grassroots marketing. Vlad has developed and led successful public affairs and marketing campaigns for corporations, not-for-profits, trade associations and coalitions in a variety of areas including health care, transportation, energy, telecommunications, financial services, insurance and technology. Current and past clients include US Telecom, PhRMA, UnitedHealth Group, The International Music Products Association, Biotechnology Industry Association, National Association of Realtors, TXU Energy, Shell, Wireless Across America and the United States Chamber of Commerce.
Prior to joining 720 Strategies, Vlad was Executive Vice President of The Direct Impact Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller, where he spent over six years leading business development and advising clients on public affairs and community-based advocacy and marketing efforts. He has also served in government relations roles with UnitedHealth Group, the Healthcare Leadership Council and as a member of the government relations team at Powell, Goldstein, Frazer and Murphy.
He received a BA from The American University School of Public Affairs.
