Tom has over nine years experience in web application development and content management systems, having developed software for the Department of Agriculture, the Department of Education, and the Department of Health and Human Services. Additionally he has extensive experience in the political campaign and legislative arena, having developed software for several Senate campaigns, and numerous PACs, non-profits, and congressional campaigns.

His work as a contract software engineer for the Department of Agriculture resulted in one United States patent for a content management system (patent number 6,356,903), and an additional pending patent application for an online feedback management system.

Additionally, Tom has worked on entrepreneurial Internet projects developing custom CRM software for the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce and public service projects like CrimeinDC.org to help promote crime and public safety awareness in Washington, DC.

Tom has a degree in Economics from Vanderbilt University.
