Mike has eight years of experience in web design and development and brings fluency in semantic XHTML, CSS, W3C web standards and 508 compliance to the 720 team. Prior to 720 Strategies, Mike was a contractor, freelancer and web developer for numerous civilian agencies in the federal government. His work focused on usability, application of the latest web trends and idea and troubleshooting legacy code.

In addition to government consulting, Mike worked as a freelancer and contractor with a variety of companies, focusing on usable, simple and elegant designs mixed with smart, accessible and cross-platform compliant code.  An advocate of grid-based layouts, color and font selection, Mike builds dynamic user interfaces through utilization of front-end libraries such as jQuery and Prototype Javascript Framework. Mike's crafting of social media outreach on Twitter and Facebook, among others, has helped many clients grow from ideas to flourishing businesses.
