Kim has played an integral role in SevenTwenty Strategies' success since joining the firm in 2002, when she spearheaded the Participate America Foundation’s celebration of National Civic Participation Week. Kim now oversees the project management team and has successfully managed over 50 issue-advocacy campaigns on behalf on an impressive array of clients including: BlueCross BlueShield Association, NPR, PBS, Emily’s List, American Cancer Society, XM Satellite Radio and Sirius Satellite Radio. Her many contributions on behalf of Emily’s List, BlueCross BlueShield Association, Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease, Pharmaceutical Research & Manufactures Association, AARP and 321 Studios also helped SevenTwenty Strategies garner several coveted Pollie Awards.
Prior to joining SevenTwenty Strategies, Kim served as the Communications Director for the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) and as head of the Intergovernmental and Public Liaison Division at the Department of Justice’s Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS).
Kim is a graduate of Duke University and holds a degree in Political Science.
