Dan joined SevenTwenty Strategies in March of 2009, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge in communications, project management, proposal development and event planning in both corporate and non-profit arenas.  He has also produced creative and effective strategy to the needs of various clients and organizations utilizing his experience in creative writing, a broad understanding of social media and Web 2.0 technology.

Prior to SevenTwenty Strategies, Dan worked at GEP Washington as Product Development Manager, producing unique proposals for both corporate and non-profit clients and working closely with vendors to secure his clients’ destination management needs under tight deadlines. He also created innovative newsletter design and copy to help keep clients and vendors alike informed on in-the-know information regarding the Washington, D.C. hospitality industry. Before GEP, Dan headed the awards program at the American Sociological Association. By providing around the clock program management of over 150 committee members through the use of both website and online newsletter, Footnotes, Dan executed an awards program that generated more nominations from ASA members in three years and any of the years before.

Dan earned B.A. from the University of Maryland – College Park with a degree in communications and is currently enrolled at the Johns Hopkins University for a Masters in Communications with an expected graduation date of August 2010.
