Brenna brings ten years of communications and public relations experience to her role as a project manager here at 720 Strategies. She has experience in creative marketing, social media, graphic design, and evaluative research, and is well versed in interpersonal and intercultural communications styles. Prior to 720 Strategies, Brenna worked on research projects related to deregulation policy for the telecommunications and alcohol industries, and has spent time working on issues surrounding commercial speech, label and shipping compliance for the Napa Valley wine industry. She also was a consultant with Strategic Communications, LLC in Syracuse, NY, working with a wide range of both corporate and nonprofit clients in energy, manufacturing, healthcare, and state government.
She recently completed two master's degrees at Syracuse University, in public relations at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and in public administration at the Maxwell School.
Prior to her graduate work, Brenna served as the on-site manager and industry liaison for a boutique luxury inn in Napa, California - her home town. There she worked extensively with the local hospitality industry and media coordinating the inn's public relations efforts, including work on the company Web site.
Brenna is an active member in Free the Grapes! a grassroots advocacy group working towards consumer choice and non-discriminatory interstate commerce laws for direct-to-consumer shipping of wine. She is also a member of Women in Government Relations.
Brenna also holds dual bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and English with a focus on rhetoric from Sonoma State University in California.
