The People module provides your organization with an online database to collect, store, and track information about your site visitors and members. The module allows you to:

• Maintain a database of your online members, constituents, and supporters;
• Understand how these site visitors use the website, identify their interests, and customize their experience; and

Our client websites are hosted in a redundant setup simultaneously on a production web server and a password protected staging server. This tiered environment provides a staging area in which major website changes or software upgrades can be tested prior to launch. Additionally, all backend information for our 720 Power Suite is stored in our separate database server.

All our servers are behind a dedicated hardware firewall, isolating the resources from the rest of the data center network and preventing any unauthorized access from the Internet. Server security is monitored 24x7 by our engineers to ensure no malicious users attempt to access our systems.

Server uptime is guaranteed and proactively monitored 24x7 by our engineers. In the event that a service is rendered unavailable on one of our servers, the engineers are notified immediately and take steps to bring the service back online.

Server Outage and Emergency Processes

In the unlikely event that there is a server outage, your organization will have access to a project manager as well as a direct line to call in case of emergency. Our servers are monitored 24 hours a day, every day by our engineers on a minute-by-minute basis. Each critical service (FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, SMTP) on the servers is proactively monitored and if one should fail to respond positively the engineers take measures to ensure they come back online as rapidly as possible.

Additionally, our servers have mirrored RAID configurations, which allows for complete operation of the server in the event that one hard drive fails. If a hard drive fails on a server, our engineers guarantee its replacement within an hour, and it will be hot-swapped (no server downtime will be required).

Hosted DNS Management

720 Strategies can manage your DNS (domain name service) through a redundant name server partner. DNS management for the campaign’s website will be included with website hosting. Change requests, if necessary, will be handled within two hours of request (typically substantially less time is required), in the event that an A, CNAME, or MX record needs to be modified or a subdomain needs to be created.
