Shortly after ringing in 2008, SevenTwenty Strategies designed, printed and mailed a personalized direct mail program on behalf the Virginia College Saving Plan to encourage Virginia residents to enroll in the Virginia Prepaid Education Program before its February 29th deadline. Each mailer was personalized using first names, contained anecdotal information pertaining to each recipient and included a "personalized URL" to visit online. The campaign was supplemented by personalized HTML emails.
