When the upscale American discount retailer, Target, wanted to create a civic engagement platform for its team members, they turned to SevenTwenty Strategies to build an online environment that fosters community engagement at the local, state and federal level.SevenTwenty Strategies launched the Target Citizens' Forum, which is helping the company's team members gain access to a wealth of information and resources that share the company's civic affairs priorities in an informative and fun environment.
By weaving traditional and social media outreach methods, SevenTwenty Strategies created the site with Target's needs in mind. Members can both read and comment on the Target Community Forum, encouraging an inclusive community of individuals working toward the same goal. Team members can also engage in dialogue with elected officials through Target's Legislative Alert Center.
