More than 3,700 people responded to a recent online consumer survey from MyWireless.org, making it the largest response to a survey in the organization's history. MyWireless.org, a non-profit consumer advocacy organization, turned to 720 Strategies to perform a wide-scale online survey with an associated communications strategy that integrated with their larger pro-consumer advocacy campaign and website.
720 Strategies drove traffic to their online survey and website (MyWireless.org), powered by Encompass720, through a communications strategy utilizing subject testing, a method that ensures optimal user response to outreach campaigns. The survey campaign targeted individuals that signed up for news and updates from the website and took action via their online advocacy center. MyWireless.org also promoted the survey at a conference on wireless information technology in San Diego, where people visiting their booth could complete the survey.
The online survey drove consumers to their website - increasing traffic by 900 percent - which provided invaluable exposure to the organization and its efforts to support wireless consumers. The survey accounted for more than 30 percent of all page views in October.
"We were really pleased with the instant feedback from our supporters and the number of visits to our website," said Brian Johnston, Director of Communications for MyWireless.org. "That response was possible because of the online survey tools provided by 720 Strategies."
