720 Announces New VP of Campaign Strategies

We are pleased to announce the newest member of our team - Susie Gorden, Vice President of Campaign Strategies.  Susie Gorden has spent the last 15 years influencing and developing public policy and working in the public relations field, with stints in politics, advocacy, research and journalism.  Most recently, she was the Director of Government Outreach and Citizen Communications for our sister company, Capitol Advantage.  In this role, she was instrumental in developing strategies for advocacy campaigns and implementing new standards for congressional offices to manage their constituent communications. 

Prior to that, Susie worked on legislative policy for U.S. Representative Diana DeGette.  While working for the Congresswoman, her issue areas included transportation, energy, environment, senior citizens and labor.  

Susie has published a number of articles, both as an author and a researcher.  She established the Environmental Journalism Academy, which in conjunction with National Public Radio, trained over 100 college-aged students how to cover the environmental beat.  

Susie graduated with honors from the University of Colorado at Boulder.  In her many roles in the public realm, she’s generated lots of political communications - and been on the receiving end, as well.
